Job Offers and Salary Negotiations

Most career experts agree that you should think about any job offer before responding with your acceptance or rejection. Try to evaluate the offer financially and in terms of career prospects, company…etc.

Salary Negotiation

  • Work together with your Kadtech Recruitment consultant. Our professional Recruitment consultants will negotiate-on your behalf-the best possible salary package, while keeping the potential employer happy with the terms agreed. We will also provide advice, tips and help throughout this stage.

  • Be frank and tell us exactly what are you looking for.

  • Be reasonable and discuss other solutions

  • Keep alternatives

  • Consider other factors, such as opportunities for promotion, company culture, and quality of management.

Acceptance of the offer

Once you have decided to accept the offer, the next stage in the recruitment process is to inform your recruitment consultant of your acceptance verbally and-if possible-in writing.

There are some checks the employer might wish to make, or are advised to do, such as checking an individual's eligibility to be in the UK.

The offer letter should set out the main terms and conditions of the job and whether the offer is conditional, i.e. subject to the outcome of checks such as educational qualifications.

Having made a decision to accept an offer of employment it is sufficient to write a letter in the following vein:

Dear (person making the offer)

I am writing to accept the position of (Position) offered to me in your letter of (Date).

I confirm my acceptance of the terms and conditions of employment outlined in your letter and look forward to starting work with (Organisation) on (Start date).

Yours sincerely

This letter constitutes the other half of your contract of employment - keep a copy. STORE IT SAFELY WITH THE OFFER LETTER
